Located just off I-55, exit 32, in Downtown Portageville, MO. Wonderful home cooked food. Lunch buffet Sun. - Fri. Seafood buffet Fri & Sat nights.We ate the seafood buffet at Mary Ada's on the advice of a friend. The food was delicious. We were especially fond of the fried catfish. I never eat anything but catsup on fried catfish but whenever I eat at Mary Ada's I'll be having her homemade tartar sauce from now on. TO DIE FOR!! The peel and eat shrimp was very fresh, good-sized, and tasty. Can't beat the down-home, friendly, family atmosphere. This is a restaurant with great food and the place inside is so pretty that you would not believe this place was in Portageville, MO. If you are looking for a place to impress someone this is the place! Their prices are also good. They have the best fried chicken in Missouri. They make a lot of their desserts which are outstanding. They have a Friday night fish buffet with catfish, froglegs and peel & eat shrimp and all of the trimmings. You have to try it to know what I am talking about. They also have a fantastic Sunday buffet with fried chicken and chicken & dressing and the list goes on. They have a great steak on weekends along with seafood. I am very satisfied. I think you would be too.
