General Info
Since 1990, with the grand opening of the Kalamazoo.Mich., location, SoccerZone has emerged as a sports facility leader. Thanks to intense community involvement, it quickly became known as an authority on league development, tournament management and instructional programs. The positive responses encouraged the company to open facilities in the following Michigan locations as well: Lansing, Grand Rapids, Novi, South Bend, Portage and Grand Blanc. Playing host to over 3 million patrons per year, SoccerZone provides more than just soccer. Select locations also offer inline hockey, lacrosse and basketball. In addition, SoccerZone facilities feature concession stands and Back Of The Net Sports retail store for visitor convenience.

Horrible customer service and organization since let's play took over. Grew up playing here and would not recommend playing here anymore. Pay ref fees and they have one guy sit and keep stats and the score.... Seriously!? For a recreational league we have to pay 12 dollar ref fees for your employees to sit around? They give you one minute to warm up and 1 minute of half time although it says you get 5 minute half time with 2 25 minute halves. stupid player cards now that you have to give to the ref each game. I would rather my money go to a better use than cards with pictures and employees sitting around keeping stats. if you are thinking of playing or having a team play, check out kingdom indoor center right down the road. Locally owned still! Price seems more expensive but only a few dollars more after soccer zones ref fees that keep rising over the past few years. One flat fee, no need to worry about the cash each game and much friendlier and newer facilities.

We signed up to play an adult Mens "B-League" and have had nothing but trouble with this business and its lack of customer service. After being told it would be the best fit for us, we obviously werent keeping up with the other teams. We asked for a bump to the lower league (which is a standard here supposedly) and were told it would happen the following game and did not while we continued to get destroyed for no reason. The referees always seemed to lean on the house teams here and needed to be paid every game... which we were swindled out of an extra ref fee twice. The schedule was absolutely backwards and often not set until the night before games. After weeks of trying to discuss these issues with the manager/owner nothing was done about any of it. He avoided us when we tried approach him at the facility. Though it is cheaper than Kingdom I would never recommend this organization or facility to anyone. They do not promote anything worthwhile and clearly are only out for there dollar at the end of the day. Players on different teams werent penalized for blurting out racial and anti-gay obscenities on the field when it was clear what was being said by all. I will never play here again and DO NOT recommened this facility for anyone looking to play recreational or competitive indoor soccer. It is a waste of your time and money.
