STAY AWAY!! Took my car in for a noise in the front of the car when going over bumps. They charged $35 to look at the car and then they said I needed two new struts and say bars for over $700. I then took it to someone else for a second opinion and it ended up being a $30 strut mount. This place tries to rip people off. Stay far away from this place unless you want to pay lots of money for unneeded repairs!

I was driving around Portage and hit a man hole cover when my already loose muffler fell off...went straight to USA Muffler, and George managed to squeeze me in as his last appointment for the day! Great friendly, fast service, at a resonable price! Thanks George!

I took my car for an oil change for the first time. About the time that I it was due for another oil change I had my son check the oil level. The dipstick would not turn and we couldn't get it out. I took it to our normal mechanic . The mechanic said the dipstick was broken . I will not take my car there again.

Wasted my money, 4 times in but still not fixed!

I took my 4Runner to American Brake for a rear axle seal leak. They replaced the seal and told me I needed to replace the shoes because they were cover with axle lube; this was all done for just under $300. 1200 miles later the axle was leaking again from the same area. Next they told me the axle bearing was bad and was causing the seal to go bad. They could not replace the bearing, so they sent the car to a 3rd party to replace the axle bearing. More than a week later and almost $400 additional later; I got my car back. About a month later the axle was again leaking from the same place; so I returned to American. They sent the car to the 3rd party again, where it sat for a week; only to say the old leaked oil wasn't properly cleaned and that was what I was seeing. They cleaned it thoroughly and returned my car. Several weeks later it continued to leak off and on. I returned the 4th time and it stll has not been fixed. Promises, but NO ACTION!
