I got a starter rebuild that used the wrong parts, including recycled old worn-out parts that should have been discarded. I had D&E rebuild a high output starter for a classic muscle car. After their rebuild the starter wouldn't even start the car. After doing lots of internet research, including many exchanges with Delco-Remy Technical Support and an expert starter rebuilder with 40 years experience, I found out that my high-torque high-compression V-8 starter had been rebuilt using parts for a low-torque low-compresssion 6-cylinder starter. The rebuilt starter couldn't even start my high-compression engine because it was rebuilt with the wrong low-power parts. Disassembly to examine the "rebuilt" starter showed an armature scored by wear, worn out bushings, and low-output 6-cylinder field coils -- total garbage and not the right parts for my car. I got a rebuild using the wrong, worn out parts. A total waste of money. 1-year warranty? Yeah, right. AVOID.

My 1992 Chevy plow truck needed an upgraded alternator to handle the voltage being used up by the plow operation. Burned up battery. Great service in a timely matter. Awesome job. Very satisfied, and will recommend. Thanks, Nick.
