The laboratory is open 365 days a year to provide prompt test results. Because tests are processed locally, 24 hours-a-day, we provide timely and reliable results within 24 to 48 hours to your physician. Most tests are performed at Martin Health, not sent away, so your physician receives results quickly. The laboratory has some of the most advanced equipment available, including a state-of-the-art track system, which integrates computerized and advanced robotics technology to route and manage patient samples of blood, urine and other body fluids to complete tests in half the normal time. This system can perform more than 100 different types of tests. Martin Health's track system was one of the first networked systems of its kind in the U.S. The system allows doctors at any of our sites or hospitals to view test results via any Martin Health's computer terminal, providing quick access to your test results. Martin Health's pathologists are highly-trained doctors with years of experience. Our laboratories are staffed by degreed, licensed, experienced technologists. Our laboratory drawing stations are staffed by skilled phlebotomists who make the blood-drawing process as easy and painless as possible.
