  Veneers are very thin, tooth-colored shells that are custom-fit and bonded to the front sides of teeth to close gaps, cover stains and discolorations, and correct chipped or misshapen teeth to give you a bright, even, attractive smile.
• Crowns
  Crowns are used to strengthen and improve the shape, size or color of teeth. They can support broken or weak teeth or those with large fillings; provide a smooth, strong, attractively contoured surface for stained, misshapen or otherwise abnormal teeth; and aid in the implantation of bridges and other implants.
• Bridges
  Bridges are natural-looking tooth replacements which help maintain facial structure, reduce stress on the jaw and fill in the gaps caused by missing teeth.   Dr. Kunwar Nagpal received his Board Certification from the National Board of Dental Examiners, Chicago, Illinois in 1976. He has been licensed to practice dentistry in New York from the University of the State of New York and in Maryland from the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners since 1978. Since then, he has continued his education by attending dozens of seminars throughout the country and around the world, and by earning certificates in molar endodontics, clinical treatment of periodontal disease, implantology, advanced sinus lift grafting and subantral augmentation and advanced aesthetic dentistry from the New York University College of Dentistry in New York City. Dr. Nagpal is currently an assistant clinical professor of Aesthetic dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry and is on the attending staff at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis.
• Apicoectomy
  Root canals are performed to save a tooth when the pulp becomes inflamed or infected due to decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, cracks, chips or other injuries. Other, surgical endodontic procedures are helpful in a number of situations, including the diagnosis of fractures that are too small to appear on x-rays, the cleaning and sealing of calcified teeth, the extraction and replacement of damaged teeth (intentional replantation), and the removal or repair of bone or dental root. The most common of these last procedures is the apicoectomy or removal of the tip of the root.

  In the first one or two appointments, the post or anchor is implanted in the jaw. The replacement tooth, bridge or denture is fitted and installed when the bone and gums have healed. Surgery may be performed in an office or hospital with local or general anesthesia.

• Teeth Whitening
  Bleaching products brighten teeth that have been stained or darkened by food, tobacco use, age or injury. There are a variety of in-office and take-home whitening products to reduce or eliminate such stains. In-office bleaching takes place over a series of one-hour appointments at the office. First, your teeth will be examined and cleaned to make sure there are no cavities, loose fillings, gum problems or other issues that may be exacerbated by the bleaching process. A custom-fit mouthtray will be made for your teeth. Then the bleaching gel is applied to your teeth in the tray.
