Port Chester Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, with its facility located in Port Chester, N.Y., offers a 160-bed long-term care, short-term rehabilitation and subacute care center. It focuses on wound healing. Incoming patients are evaluated by the wound care team to assess the wound for size, granulation, odor and drainage. Its multidisciplinary team uses intravenous antibiotics, specialized air mattresses, infection control techniques, and special equipment and devices, such as a negative pressure vacuum-assisted wound closure for reduced healing time and pain management. Port Chester Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre provides other health care services, such as Alzheimer s disease and dementia care, cardiac rehabilitation, chemotherapy, hemodialysis, intravenous therapy, and hydration and antibiotic therapies.
