The job came out fantastic! The desired look of hand ax-hewn half timbers around the window came out perfectly and matches the rest of the house. After the attic fan was carefully removed, the space was sized and the window fitted to it; everything was sealed and weather proofed. Finally, the window was inserted and those half timbers installed. He also carved out pediments to match decorative carvings on another part of the house, but we did not install these (yet), just in the interest of simplicity; the carved pediments came out great though. We are totally pleased with the job, and feel that Scott has a good engineering mind, and can figure out how to negotiate the generally non-standard issues that can not be avoided when working on older homes; the skill set of those times is not usually required or available in the world of today. Also worth noting is that they maintain a clean work site. Scott and his team are truly craftsmen.
