I have visited and been treated by Drs, Helgemo and Olarte of the Florida Hand Center. I found their staff to be very helpful and courteous. Eventually Basilar Joint surgery was necessary. I was warned that the first 2 to 3 days after surgery would be painful and they were. Thanks to the doctors and the staff I am recovering now and my follow up visits to the office have been wonderful.

First of all...my hand is doing great! Prior to surgery, my hand was numb all the time, I could not hold a cup of coffee or the steering wheel of my car and I was not able to make a fist anymore. Now I have all that function back and no numbness! I found the doctor and his staff to be knowledgeable, caring, and kind. The office is spotless and runs on time.
