General Info
We can Re-level and Raise your existing concrete. We specialize in Pool Deck, Sidewalk, and Driveway Repair. Environmental Foam Solutions is owner operated and we have over 30 years experience in the stabilization industry! We have solutions for Trip Hazard Removal, Hollow Seawalls, Tidal Erosion, Vacant Animal Dens and Void Filling! Concrete is beneath our feet virtually everywhere we go. From sidewalks to driveways, from seawalls to pool decks, concrete is all around us. When concrete begins to sink, it becomes a trip hazard liability. Replacing concrete on the average driveway, pool deck, or seawall can cost home and business owners thousands of dollars. EFS is able to restore your existing concrete, while cutting costs. We use an environmentally safe expanding foam that fills voids, stabilizes and solidifies soils, and lifts and re-level existing concrete. This method of repairing concrete may be referred to as concrete leveling, poly lifting, or foam or slab jacking. Poly lifting uses the lightweight, high density polyurethane foam that is pumped through dime sized portholes to fill voids, compact the soil underneath, which ultimately causes the concrete to rise and level out. A hydrophobic, two part polyurethane foam is injected as a fluid, making it easy to travel through gaps and voids. The foam then reacts by expanding and sealing gaps in a matter of minutes as opposed to days. Our foam is designed for wet environments, which is essential in Florida as water is mainly the cause of concrete slab problems. We proudly use Alchemy polymers NSF approved hydrophobic lifting foams, which is designed to work underwater and is even safe if it were to come into contact with drinking water. Many companies offer resins that are not adequate for wet environments. Other companies tend to use a procedure called mud jacking. Mud jacking occurs by pumping a concrete mixture through a slab under pressure, which raises the concrete. This is not the preferred method as it is messy, it creates visible holes, and most importantly, adds a lot of weight on top of unstable soil. Concrete naturally shrinks as it cures, creating gaps for water to seep into, ultimately perpetuating the problem even further. Call for your free estimate!
