Provided by YPmobileI live at 3511 bayou gerimond rd port barre. I had a special package scheduled to be delivered today and the postal carrier did not even attempt to make delivery! There was a notice placed in my mail box stating to pick up the package at the post office. The package is a birthday present for my nephew who's birthday party is tomorrow Saturday 11-14-15. Now I will not be able to retrieve the package until Monday. A lot of good that does when the package should have been delivered to me instead of a notice to pick it up at the post office. It doesn't make any sense to pay for the package to be delivered to my home when the mail carrier was too lazy to get out of their car and knock on the door! This is not the first time that this has happened! Now I have to disappoint my nephew by not being able to give him his present that was to be delivered to my home! They could have at least blown their horn. I would have gladly met them outside so that they would have not even had to get out of their car. This is very poor service on their part. It would not be a big deal except for the facts that the item was special ordered and paid for HOME DELIVERY not to be delivered to the post office!!! Like I said this is not the first time that this has happened simply due to the pure laziness of the postal carrier!!!
