The same thing happened to me! I've contacted her multiple times over the past several months regarding my items, but all I've gotten is excuses. I made complaint with the city of Poquoson and contacted the state Consumer Affairs office. They advised me to file a claim in small claims court and suggested I also contact the local Commonwealth Attorney.

She used the excuse of pregnancy and health problems as the reason for closing this store which may be part of the truth but she also did not pay the rent on her storefront according to public information and the owners got judgement against her for the back rent.Many people have lost their money and items., with the only remedy seemingly available is a trip to small claims court.

I also was there on say nov 10 an had a wonderful experience . Yes owner was young but very polite an knowledgable. Usually don't write reviews but went to look up number an saw this review from person above on same day I was there. I had to post that there was a lady there with her young child that kept asking lots of personal info an very inappropriate question, all the while her young kid had fell down hurting himself an screaming at top of his lungs . Finally the owner of shop stop her from her rude questions to see if he was ok. Don't rember hearing her say she only did military discount because she thaught she should either. This is a great place to go an is up an coming.

This consignment shop has everything for children, and lots of cute handmade items. The new owners have rearranged the racks and it is so much easier to shop.

When this store first opened it was on its way up. Military wife started it pregnant and the WHOLE business was SO SO cute.. Its SO unfortunate that she had to move, so here we are Its now on its 3rd owner in less then 2 years and its is just NOT the same.. I just went in to see the now 3rd owner and I feel more like I'm walking in to a high school lunch room where someone has some clothes for sale rather then walking into a BUSINESS.. If your looking for some good gossip, drama, negativity, and just plane people bashing with a smile this is the place for you.. If your looking to do business with someone who knows how to run a business try a different consignment shop.. Pro's: can be oh so negative with a smile.Con's: Picks her prices based on how she feels moment to moment. So some are way to low and some are way to high.. Only supports military because she feels she has to. Bashes the prev owners and gives out personal business info to customers.
