Founded in 1967, Three Rivers Community College offers learning opportunities to students throughout southeast Missouri. The college is governed by a board of trustees elected by the people in Butler, Carter, Ripley and Wayne counties in Missouri. It provides associate s degrees in more than 40 degree and certificate programs. The college also offers e-learning opportunities with a variety of online courses. Three Rivers Community College s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as business, social sciences, humanities, performing arts, mathematics, science and technology. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and Missouri Community College Athletic Conference. Three Rivers Community College has a more than 80-acre campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
