My daughter has been A COASTAL STAR for 8 years this school is one of the best I've ever seen I was a dancer my from age 3 to 17 so I know what dancings all about and been to many schools so DONT LISTEN TO BITTER HATEFUL PEOPLE WHO TELL LIES ITS PROBABLY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT DANCE!! COASTAL HAS THE MOST CLASSY PROFESSIONAL StAFF YOU CANT BLAME A SCHOOL BECAUSE DANCERS WANT TO BE A PART OF SOMETHING FABULOUS AND PROFESSIONAL THIS STUDIO DOES NOT HAVE TO RECRUIT FROM OTHER PLACES DANCERS KNOW WHERE REAL TALENT COMES FROM AND MRS DAWN IS REAL TALENT AND THE MOST GRACIOUS WOMAN/DANCER/MOTHER/PROFESSIONAL I HAVE EVER SEEN SO I GIVE COASTAL TEN STARS,IFYOU HAVE THE PLEASURE OF ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!! Coastal Performing Arts Academy is simply the best thing that has ever happened to my daughter. She is a competitive dancer at CPAA, and has received training and instruction of the highest quality. The opportunities that are available to my daughter as a student at this school absolutely cannot be found at any other studio in this area. The staff is so warm and welcoming, and we always have the information we need in an organized and timely manner. My daughter began her dance education at another studio. When we saw the amazing abilities of the dancers that come from Coastal, we knew that is where we wanted our daughter to train. Dawn, Lazar, Mindy, Tito, and all the fantastic teachers at Coastal are unbelievably talented and excellent at helping each child become a great dancer. If you want your dancer to have the very best instruction, the most opportunities to develop into a well-rounded, confident dancer, and a positive, family atmosphere - COME SHINE AT CPAA.

What most dance families fail to recognize is that all dance studios are businesses that exist to afford us the opportunity to involve our children in an excellent art to express themselves. Families need to be selective in finding the one that best suits their dancers, ultimately choosing the one that is a "best fit" for them. I had seen CPAA in action at competitions before becoming a part of it and was thoroughly impressed with their energy and sportsmanship. Coastal Starz competitive dance team is the best place to go! Everybody gets along an they have the best time in dance. They are all about dance and there is never any drama. It's the best place to when you walk in the door you can forget about everything and dance your heart out! They love to support other dance studios and show respect for all of the dance staff, students, and faculty of any dance studio. They preach this strongly because they love dance and that's what they are there for is to dance the best they can do.

I have danced at Coastal for 9 years. It is by far the best studio I've trained. With a professional instructors in each type of dance, I am able to be a well rounded dancer. I have been on Mrs. Dawn's competition team since I started dancing at the studio. The staff at Coastal teaches us not only technique, but also how conduct ourselves as we perform at various locations. There is no other studio I'd rather dance. If you live in the Effingham, Bryan, or Chatham County area, Coastal Performing Arts Academy is the place to go!

My children have danced at CPAA since they opened. My daughter has grown not only in her ability to dance but also as a person. Coastal provides excellent training with top notch teachers. She has had the opportunity to perform off Broadway. We have had professional customer service with a commitment to quality in all aspects of dance.

Very unorganized and cannot return phone calls in a timely manor. We were lucky enough to find a hidden gem of a school very close by.

This school is the worst of the worst. Unorganized, poor sportsmanship at events, and attempts to recruit other students at local regional dance competitions from other schools. The way they conduct their business is a travesty to the dance art. I was forced to give this school a one star rating but it does not deserve one.
