I have spent over 20 years in finance and investment. Last year, I took a contract job and they began a 401k investment for me with this company. I left the company on February 1, waited the required one week, and then filed my forms to close this account and disburse my funds ASAP. INSTEAD, I have continually received the run around, received requests twice a week asking me to verify that I requested the account be closed, have had me notarize forms requesting I close the account (this is a first for ANY investment company I have worked with), have been told that my former company needs to approve my account being closed (wth???), and finally - today - checked my account balance again, which I do daily - and I have lost $10 more dollars in just the past 24 hours! Let me clarify, this is a VERY small 401k account!

In contrast, I was with my company before this for 10 years. When I closed my 401k with them, I simply signed the forms, requested the distribution, and it was direct deposited into my account within 3 days (taking into account the 3-day trade rules).

Bottom line, I'm tired of the repeated excuses and run around, it's been 3 weeks and I WANT MY MONEY!!!!
