Cygnus specializes in the fabrication and assembly of precision sheet metal and small machine parts and assemblies for the aerospace industry. It manufactures aluminum, stainless steel and titanium parts, including brackets, panels, angles, clips, doublers, enclosures, intercostals and webs. The company has tool and die making, chemical processing, heat treatment and painting capabilities. It operates a prototype machine shop. Cygnus provides product design, anodizing, alodining, production and finishing services. The company follows Lean Manufacturing principles and has served clients, such as Northrop Grumman's and Boeing. Cygnus is an ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100-certified and NADCAP-accredited company. It is located in Ponderay, Idaho.
