Ponder High School provides classes in math, art, English, agricultural science, Spanish, history, and health and physical education. The school offers membership opportunities in the National Honor Society (NHS) and the Future Farmers of America (FFA). It has a staff of a librarian, counselor, technology director and custodians. Ponder High School has a gymnasium, cafeteria and library that includes a variety of books, magazines and periodicals. It also provides guidance counseling services, as well as sports activities, such as football, baseball and volleyball. Located in Ponder, Texas, Ponder High School is governed by the Ponder Independent School District, which also operates an elementary and junior high school.
