  Dr. Wendy began her veterinary career 25 years ago as a vet tech. Upon graduating Vet school, she took her first position in Canon City, Colorado in a mixed animal practice, but her passion and interests in small animal dentistry and surgery led her to a practice in Colorado Springs.

  Vaccinations – Following the American Animal Hospital Association Guidelines for vaccinations can help keep your animals healthy and prevent many diseases.

Illness Treatment

• Parasites Treatment and Control
  Pest and Parasite Prevention – With our in house lab we can test for external and internal parasites and prescribe monthly preventative for fleas, ticks and heart-worm.
• Pain Management
  Dr. Sarah has special interests in neurology, pain management, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Sarah also has a passion for exotic animal medicine and plans to be able to see your furry, feathery, and scaly pets in the future!

  Dr. Wendy has a special interest in ultrasonography, soft tissue surgery, and wound management. Her favorite part of her job is making a connection with the owner and pet, becoming part of their circle!

Surgery

• Veterinary Surgery
  General Surgery – Most soft tissue surgeries can be performed at ACC. We keep to AAHA standards for patient care and protocols. A pre-surgical exam is required.
• Spaying and Neutering
  Spay and Neuter – Prevent unwanted population growth, control some behavioral issues, and reduce the instance of mammary cancer, prostate cancer, or life-threating infections (pyometra). All pets must undergo a pre-surgical exam with the doctor prior to anesthesia.

Lab and X-Rays

• X-Ray
  In House diagnostics – In our laboratory, we are able to run bloodwork the same day as your visit. More extensive or specific panels can be sent for processing through external laboratories such as IDEXX. We have an Ultrasound and a NEW High Definition digital radiography (x-ray) in our hospital.
