Two like-minded young farm boys who were raised with the mindset of "whatever it takes to get the job done" met when their two small schools merged in 1973. They've been lifelong friends ever since and that "whatever it takes" work ethic stuck. After high school, life lead them down different roads and although they lived 7 miles apart outside the small rural community of Lamont, Oklahoma, there wasnâ??t much contact between them while they both worked various jobs to support and raise their families. That all changed in 2016 when they decided to restore a 1963 pontoon boat together and their close friendship resumed right where it had left off. By that time, Brad and his daughter, Kelsey, had started KB Enterprises. This small manufacturing company produces Gatehands, Brad's first patented invention. It's used to secure tubular farm and ranch gates, the kind you find at most farm supply stores. The KB Enterprises motto is â??Thinking outside the boxâ??. Brad is a natural born inventor and entrepreneur with a background in trucking and metal fabrication.
