Pequannock Township High School was established in 1956 and is located in Pompton Plains, N.J. The school enrolls more than 800 students and has a staff of more than 70. It offers advanced placement courses in English, social studies, mathematics, science, world language, music and art. The school s library and media center provides print and nonprint resources, including books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, CDs, DVDs and audiovisual material. Its world language department includes Latin, Spanish and French. The school offers sport programs in baseball, basketball,. Cross county, football, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and wresting. Its extracurricular activities include academic decathlon, biology league, chemistry league, mock trial and quiz bowl. The school is affiliated with the Pequannock Township School District.
