- Dental ExaminationPreparing for your Appointment From the time you walk through the door of our practice, we want you to feel at home. At your first visit, you will be able to take as much time as you need to discuss your dental history and how we can help you achieve the smile that you desire. During your 90 minute comprehensive exam, we will perform a hard (tooth) and soft (gums) tissues charting, an oral cancer screening, a full series of digital X-rays, a TMJ (joints), occlusal (bite) and facial muscle examination, smile analysis, and educational/hygiene instructions. Also, for more complex cases, diagnostic impressions and digital intra-oral photographs may be taken. After your exam and all of your questions are answered, you will be given a comprehensive treatment plan or re-appointed for a consultation so all of your options can be reviewed. We know your time is important, as is ours, so we do not double book our patients and strive to run on time. If we are behind schedule, we will do our best to notify you ahead of time. We ask that if you are running late, let us know or give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule an appointment.

This is before the days of […]
