My family has been very disappointed the the over all care of our 81 year old Mother. She has Alzheimer's and needs help with eating, they bring the food in and come back later and pick up an untouched tray if a family member is not there to feed her. She also has to wear diapers and they are rarely changed and has resulted in a burned bottom. Even in her state of mind she'll say, "It hurts and burns!" She does not know what the call button is for so never pushes it and if a family member pushes it they can take up to hours to come change her and complain that the button is always pressed when one of us arrive! Well??? We chose this facility for the closeness for visiting purposes so we could visit her often. I can't imagine what happens to people that don't ever have visitors. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or what but they definitely don't have the compassion or capability to keep up with the personal needs of their residents. I personally don't think they deserve one star!
