Chefs International was organized under the laws of the state of Delaware in March 1975. The company currently operates nine restaurants on a year-round basis, seven of which are freestanding seafood restaurants in New Jersey and Florida. One is a freestanding Mexican theme restaurant located in Freehold, N.J., and the other is an eclectic American food menu also located in Freehold. The company opened its first seafood restaurant in November 1978, its Mexican theme restaurant in January 2002 and Moore's Tavern and Restaurant in February 2000. It trades on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol CHEF. The company is headquartered in Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.
