I boarded my 2 dogs at braveheart knowing that the owner was on site and a trainer had access to the facility at all times. I was impressed by the facility and thus felt compfterable leaving my dogs there. Needless to say, as I called to check on my dogs halfway through my trip, it was reported to me that my 10 year old had to be muzzled because he had gotten through their cage door and got stuck in it. They had no idea how long his neck had been confined between the metal and muzzled him thereafter. I was never informed about this and he was muzzled (for his protection they said) without my approval. As I picked my dogs up the man reached into the cage and dragged my dogs by the collar. My younger dog dropped to the floor and nearly peed himself with fear. This dog is a therapy dog and is usually incredibly social and happy. I was distraught at this image. I knew my dogs had been treated badly. His response was "your dog is too timid". I shook my head at his abuse. Never again.
This is the kind place I feel good about leaving my dogs. owners are great people. Prices were about the lowest
