I used to work at one of the best indian restaurants in Michigan, which has huge middle eastern and indian populations. So I have grown accustomed to wonderful, delicious, authentic indian food, it is my favorite!!! So moving to Pocatello I was very concerned that I wouldn't be able to have my chicken tikka masala, it was a serious situation... Luckily I found a Taste of India and Nepal and I was so relieved when I got my food and it was actually done right! (you have no idea) Better even then most of the indian restaurants I've been to in Boise. The Service is a little slow, but the quality is great and the owner does put forth a lot of effort to make sure people are satisfied and well taken care of.

I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding.The customer service was great.

We ate here for the 1st time in June '09. Fantastic! food of India! Our neighbors are from Mumbai and have taught us some lessons on cooking food of India - so tasting the great food here is such a treat! They make their own paneer every other day! Lovely setting, Nice people, gracious service, and wonderful food! Going back tonight with a party of 6 - reservations were able to be made and children are WELCOME! Thank You! DAS

Sanju's is a true Gem in the minefield that is Pocatello Dining. Authentic Indian Food that is prepared fresh. The curries are as varied as the dishes served. At first the service may seem annoyingly slow; then you realize that the owner takes the time to check on each table, to make sure each customer is happy, This level of commited service does take a few extra minutes so not a place to dine in a hurry, but with food this savory it should be savored. (pun intended)
