Hospice services require a terminal illness with a prognosis of six months or less. Common hospice diagnosis or conditions include cancer, coma, heart disease, dementia, Alzheimer’s and Neurological Diseases, pulmonary disease, HIV, Parkinson’s, liver disease, renal failure and stroke.
