Provided by YPmobileAt first the staff makes a big deal about the care there and shows you around the entire place. it looks okay, but you have to ask what goes on during the day when your child is there in their care. Our exerience was the first and only day my son went there. We came early in the morning to get him aquatinted with the room and the children. He had been there before but we wanted to stay a while to ensure he was okay. Not once did the staff come over to engage with him. We stood back to observe and they didn't help him with his breakfast nor ensure us that we could leave, that he would be okay. They took his blanket and his pillow and put it in a cabinet that housed every child in the rooms sleeping blankets, etc. I've never heard of such a thing and this concerned me. I asked that his things be kept separate form everyone else. Prior to his first day we did a visit and there were 3 children with snotty noses. Not once in the 30 mins we were there, did any teacher wipe it clean their faces. They literally were letting them walk around and play. After I left, in which my heart sank because I had a feeling that this wasn't going to work. I chose to come pick him up way before the time we had arranged, I walked in the room and he was screaming crying, historically. The look on the teachers faces when I walked in was that of "what is she doing here?!" My first response was to say " why is he crying like that?!!!" I know his crys and this was one of either he got hurt or he had been crying for a long time. I don't believe that caring for infants, toddlers, young children, should you ever have to worry about them if you leave them in the care of a trained and professional environment. Just overall, I say if you do let your child attend here, make sure they can speak and let you know what goes on through out the day.
