Located in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Southeast Polk Junior High School provides students with a transitional educational program and serves more than 800 students in grades seven and eight. The school is operated by Southeast Polk Community Schools and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. Its academic curriculum includes art, technology education, Spanish, social studies, computers, music, mathematics, science, and physical and health education. The junior high school provides a wide variety of athletic program, including volleyball, football, basketball, swimming, cross country, wrestling, softball, and track and field. Additionally, it offers various facilities and services, such as transportation, parking spaces, playing fields, a library, cafeteria, laboratories and lockers.
