Founded in 1899, St. Joseph School is an educational institution that enrolls students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It conducts classes in various subjects that include religious education, language arts, English, mathematics, social studies and science. The school features a library that offers a range of books, magazines and newspapers. It operates senior Beta and 4-H clubs. St. Joseph School s athletic activities include basketball, softball, baseball, cross-country, tennis and cheerleading. It also provides after-school, transportation and meal services. The school is fully accredited by the Department of Education of the State of Louisiana.
