"Tony A. Dixon, M.D., is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. At Conviva Plantation, he leads a team of compassionate professionals who provide patient-focused care with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Dixon completed both his internship and residency at District of Columbia General Hospital in Washington, District of Columbia. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He received a Bachelor of Science from Howard University in Washington, D.C. as well. Dr. Dixon is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Dixon has been recognized through the NCQA’s Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP). Clinicians who achieve DRP Recognition show their peers, patients and others in the Diabetes community that they are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care."
