  The Aspen After Surgery ultrasound treatment is non-invasive, so patients will not have any downtime after their treatment. However, we typically perform this treatment in a series of 10 treatment sessions over the course of a few weeks. Each treatment lasts approximately one hour. Although there is no downtime, patients may have to take time off of work and other activities in order to accommodate for the frequent treatment sessions.

  Although there’s no factual evidence that breast implants can cause cancer, it is possible that they could change how a mammogram is completed to identify cancerous cells. Women should begin yearly mammograms between the ages of 40 and 45. When you schedule a mammogram, find a radiology center with experienced staff members who are trained to take photos and X-rays of patients with breast implants from multiple angles. Another helpful option for some women is an ultrasound exam, which can discover lumps or asses an implant more closely.

  During male eyelid surgery, discreet incisions are made within the natural folds of the eyelids. Through these incisions, we are able to remove excess skin and fat in order to deliver the desired cosmetic results. Depending on your desired results, you may only need surgery on either the upper or lower eyelids. If this is the case, we may be able to use less incisions, further reducing any visible scarring. A full eyelid surgery can take up to three hours, depending on the extent of treatment necessary.

  Ultrasonic liposuction is an advanced liposuction treatment that uses sound waves to break up and liquefy fat. This makes the fat easier to remove, which offers several benefits over traditional liposuction. With ultrasonic liposuction, it is easier to remove large amounts of fat. This is not always possible with traditional liposuction, as removing too much fat can cause blood loss and other risks. The ultrasonic liposuction technique also makes it easier to target fat in especially fibrous areas like the calves or the neck.

  Large breasts can cause both physical and emotional discomfort. Women with large breasts may develop back, shoulder, or neck pain that negatively effects their posture. They may also feel that their breasts are disproportionate to their bodies, causing self-consciousness or embarrassment. A breast reduction can eliminate excess breast tissue to reduce the size of the breasts and make them more proportional to the body.

  After your breast lift, you will wear either a surgical bra or a bandage around the breasts to ensure proper healing. You may also experience bruising, discomfort, and swelling for several days after your treatment. It will be about two weeks before you can have your stitches removed.
