Often these ailments can be treated at home, but if serious, they may require medical intervention. Ear infections are caused by bacteria and may be treated with antibiotics after an office examination.

  She spent a year as a Plano pediatrician in solo practice before merging her practice with Pediatric Specialists of Plano (PSOP) in April 2001. Throughout her pediatric medical career, she has educated parents and treated children of all ages for many physical and behavioral conditions, such as allergies and asthma, colds and influenza, ear infections, sinus infections, croup, RSV bronchiolitis, gastroenteritis and ADHD. “I love all aspects of pediatrics. She completed her intern year in pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and finished her training at the Boston Combined Residency Program. Dr. Ahmed is passionate about all aspects of well-child care and has a special interest in developmental delays and pediatric behavioral health.
