we use a lot of MOHAWK stain. Steve in the paint department has always been a big help. we call in and he checks stock for us while we are on hold. that way we don't waste time driving to store.

I have been burned twice by this store. Each time I called in to verify they had the part in stock only to drive 20+ minutes to find out they didn't. Both times their response was "we usually have these in stock" and they couldn't identify the person who talked to me on the phone. In addition, I was promised a call as soon as the part was restocked, and that didn't happen either. It's pretty obvious they don't physically check the inventory for you when you call in like that. Extremely disappointed I let them do this to me twice at Elliott's.

i have had good experiences in the past, but today I waited for 30 minutes for help in plumbing, even after some man up front called for help in plumbing. I asked again if he could find someone, and he said,"I can't help you, and I don't know where anyone is." As I gave up in frustration and headed to my car, another customer who had been waiting for as long as I had in plumbing was leaving without buying anything as well. They lost at least $40 in sales from me. I guess I'll head to Home Depot; at least I can usually find someone there to help me.
Not overpriced. actually very reasonable. And Yes, Just about every specialty tool you could ever need. very helpful on the phone, give them a call and find out for your self.
