- Plantar FasciitisPodiatry is recognized by pharmaceutical companies as an excellent investigational arena for many medications and medical devices to improve foot health. Ashton Podiatry has participated in more than a dozen clinical trials over the past 20 years. They have included such things as post-operative pain management, fungal nail treatments, diabetic wound treatment, and plantar fasciitis. Many national pharmaceutical companies contact us to participate in clinical trials because of our outstanding dedication to the success of each study.
- CryotherapyWe have non-invasive or minimally-invasive treatments for heel pain, warts, neuroma, and many other foot or ankle problems. Some of the conservative treatments offered are radio-frequency treatment for heel pain or neuroma, custom-molded foot orthotics to correct the way the foot functions, and laser and cryotherapy for plantar warts. In addition, we now offer laser treatment for fungal toenails. We do our own x-rays and ultrasound studies on-site with results available immediately.
- Primary CareIf your insurance policy requires a referral from your Primary Care Physician (PCP), it is your responsibility to obtain that referral. Failure to obtain a required referral may result in denial of payment by your insurance company, in which case you would be responsible for payment of those charges. We are happy to assist you in obtaining referrals; however, the responsibility is ultimately yours.

- UltrasoundOne of our Podiatric Assistants will escort you to a treatment room and will talk to you about your foot or ankle complaint, as well as asking you several questions about your medical history, your family medical history, and your lifestyle. You will need to remove your socks and shoes from both feet, even if your complaint involves only one foot. The doctor will assess your feet through an examination, some basic tests, and discussion with you regarding your concerns and the history of your foot or ankle complaint. If x-rays or ultrasound examination are needed, those can be performed in our office with results immediately available to the doctor.
