Reviews
The Angelilka is a boutique theater. I know that brings arty movies to mind, and, while that is primarily what is played there, they usually have a mainstream movie two playing. We just saw Up in the Air (can I yelp about that movie, it is awesome!) and Crazy Heart. The pros1. It is hardly ever crowded. I especially love to do during the day, when there is almost always less than 10 people there. You can spread out and really enjoy a movie without feeling claustrophobic.2. The theater is beautiful. The bottom floor has bamboo flooring, the top floor is mostly stained concrete, and their fixtures all high end. The seats are theater style and have either red velvet seats in the smaller theaters, or subtle leather seats in the bigger theaters. The leather seats are like the kind in first class or business class on airplanes. Very comfy.3. They have a great concession area with food from Main St bakery across the way. You can get paninis, cheese plates, etc.
