The company opened its first convenience store in 1978. It operates a distribution center that provides on-time delivery of cigarettes, candies and petroleum products. The company owns and operates a fleet of trucks that supplies gas to various retail stores. It employs more than 900 personnel and also conducts several special events. In addition, the company operates a production bakery, Dancin Donuts. WESCO maintains a presence in Plainwell, Mich.
