About Plain City Auction Plain City Auction was founded in 1959, later purchased by Rhoda and David Helmuth, and remains an owner-operated auction house in the heart of Plain City, Ohio, just northwest of Columbus. We specialize in antique furniture, glassware, pottery, and toys, but we also sell other collectibles, special collections, contemporary furniture, appliances, lawn and garden equipment, tools, and many other antique and contemporary items as well.
