Very overrated!
The wood is *dirty* (covered in dirt/mud) and burns even worse than it looks. Lots of odd shaped, very large pieces of wood. We have a decent sized fireplace, but this wood is better suited for an outdoor firepit (assuming it could catch...).
Won't buy again.

I've been getting 2 facecords of firewood from Pittsford Woods every year since I moved to Rochester 8 years ago, and I've always been happy with it. The service is great - Mike is a good guy and has good people working for him. He returns calls promptly, delivery is same or next day, and the wood is tightly stacked. And the wood burns great - definitely well seasoned.

This place is great... that is if you like crap wood for a crappier price. This wood hisses and blackens more than catches fire. Most logs were wet to the touch covered in mud and small stones. Sap and water bubbled out of just about all the ends of the logs burned. The only good thing I could say about this place is the timely delivery. Overall, this was a terrible experience and the guy who sells this firewood should be ashamed of himself. I'll never buy again from him. That's a promise.
