WPTS, based in Pittsburgh, is an educational, non-commercial FM station owned by the University of Pittsburgh and operated by its students. The radio station operates 24-hours, year-round, playing independent rock-n-roll, as well as specialty programming such as jazz, reggae, metal, world music, folk and rap music. The radio station offers a variety of programs, such as "The Eighties at Seven with Michael Davies," "WPTS Morning Show," "Imagine It! With Keith DeVries," "Demos Papadimas" and "WPTS News." WPTS works with all local promoters to support and offer music programs to listeners.
