I visited The Original Pancake House for breakfast with my family on a Sunday morning. The place was busy, but we were seated quickly and our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Dutch Baby, the Bacon Waffle, the Sourdough French Toast, and the Vegetarian Omelet. All of them were delicious and generous in portion size. The Dutch Baby was especially impressive, a huge pancake with lemon and powdered sugar that was light and fluffy. The Bacon Waffle had crispy bacon bits inside and was served with warm maple syrup. The Sourdough French Toast was thick and moist, with a hint of tanginess from the sourdough bread. The Vegetarian Omelet was loaded with fresh vegetables and cheese, and came with a side of hash browns and toast.

Our signature dishes include the Apple Pancake, a single large pancake smothered with sautéed apples and cinnamon sugar baked to perfection, creating a deliciously rich cinnamon sugar glaze.Very funny.

Great selection, all the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Our server Sharon was very attentive and even though as a rule they don't do takeaway they accommodated our request for the one member of our group that stayed at the lodge when they were feeling under the weather.
