My brother lives at TheAngelus . He went from sitting in his room sad all the time to attending activities and interacting with staff and other residents. The staff encouraged him to come out of his room,to participate in game night and be apart of the fie safety committee! The food! My brother has gained weight and looks sooo much better! The food is worth coming to the Angelus not to mention the caring staff. The first person you meet is the admin/nurse who took time to answer all my questions&made us feel so welcome. The building is clean, the rooms are nice.My brother now has a real life because of the Angelus.ThankYou! Angelus!!

Guest34810 is TOTALLY and COMPLETELY incorrect!!! The food at The Angelus is ranked by the residents as the best meals they have been served in any personal care homes. The menu has a six week cycle with frequent variations for the seasons. All of the residents rave about meals and look forward to the special luncheons and picnics. And as for the staff, it is ONE of the VERY FEW personal care homes that has Registered Nurses and /or Licensed Practical Nurses on EVERY shift. It is not the newest nor the fanciest home around but if you are more concerned about substance over appearance, The Angelus is the place you want!

I would not send a loved one here. I have been a resident there since November 2008. I will be moving out in a couple days. The staff are not trained to deal with the elderly, the physically disabled, nor the mentally disabled. The meals are the same ever week. The staff are rude, loud, and disrespectful. When a complaint is made, they ignore it, and the resident will get a disrespected after they complain. The residents are not happy there. They are bored, with very little to do except watch TV. So please do not send any loved ones there.
