I went there for a birthday party dinner and was so thrilled with the entire experience. Very fun and unique night. Talented chefs, friendly staff and great meals.
You can count on them to have great service and excellent quality in food. My family, especially the kids loved dining there. We will glady come back for a great time.
One of the worst dining experiences i have had. The signature of japanese dining is outstanding service and food preparation. This place has neither. We were seated for at least a hour before chef came to serve us. Chef was self absorbed, spending most of the time talking about himself and the new restaurant he was opening.Food was okay but expensive, $20 for 6 oz sirloin, bowl of rice, 2 shrimp, 1/4 zucchini, 3 mushrooms, lettuce, and some thin broth is pretty crazy. They chop everything up really small to make it look like more food, much smaller than other japanese restaurants i have been to. Menu was limited, they couldn't serve tempura or sushi, and it wasn't even because they ran out, it was pretty early in the day. Entertainment value was minimal after long wait.Service staff was apathetic and very slow, meandering around the entrance talking with each other, rather than making sure drinks are filled and plates are cleared. One of the staff members dropped a customer's credit card on the hot hibachi grill, ruining it. Staff is also poorly dressed, white shirt, bowtie, black worn jeans, and a studded belt? Hardly formal attire, reminds me of the whole mullet philosophy of some locals.I will never go here again.Go to Nakama instead, they might be a little more expensive, but at least they put emphasis on excellent service and have so much more class.
