Attending PSMT was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I received a thorough education from excellent teachers. I had no problem passing my licensing exam. I went confidently into the workforce knowing that I had all the tools I needed to become a great massage therapist. The spa that hired me right out of school actually paid me a higher starting salary just because I attended PSMT. I will forever be grateful for each teacher and staff member there who helped me achieve my goal. I have to say to that they go above and beyond when it comes to supporting the massage profession, the students, and alumni . As an alumni I reached out to Bob, the owner for guidance and support in a difficult situation. Within the hour the situation was resolved with his help. therapist
This is a fantastic school!!! They have great teaches, that go above and beyond what they would have to. The love and support that is behind you after you leave the school is amazing !!!
I graduated from Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in July 2014 and highly recommend the school to others looking for a career in massage therapy. The program offers a solid Swedish program, followed by a thorough training in Neuromuscular (Trigger Point) Therapy along with anatomy and physiology, pathology, ethics courses and fundamentals classes along with various other technique classes. The instructors are knowledgable and are also helpful, caring folks who want their students to succeed. After graduating, I moved to Oregon, and had no problem passing the Oregon State Board practical exam which includes a hands-on demo, verbal/hands-on test of kinesiology knowledge, pathology and communications. I felt that Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy prepared me well to pass the exam and become licensed. I am enjoying working as a massage therapist in Oregon, but I really miss being able to take CE classes at Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy, the retail store and the school staff.

I highly recommend Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy. My experience there was very good, the staff were well versed in a variety of massage therapy techniques and they shared their knowledge generously. I graduated 10 years ago and have had a successful, professional massage therapy practice ever since. I became nationally certified, state licensed and ABMP certified and all of my training was accepted with these boards. I return to PSMT periodically for continuing education courses and to purchase products from their store.
