Highcliff Elementary School enrolls more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers a variety of academic courses, such as math, reading, writing, art, music and physical education. The school also offers Title I and reading reinforcement programs that promote reading skills of students in kindergarten through grade five. Its parent-teacher association supports and sponsors various school programs and activities, including book fairs and market days. The school s cooperative learning program provides opportunities for students to learn and practice active listening, problem solving, peer mentoring and conflict resolution skills. In addition, it conducts dental, vision, audio, growth and substance use screenings. Highcliff Elementary School is located in Pittsburgh and is a part of the North Hills School District.
