Health Sciences Library Systems, located in Pittsburgh, offers a variety of study material, journals and books from the health science and medical field. It provides information services, educational opportunities, and various resources in print and electronic format to faculty, medical staff, students and researchers. It is a part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The library provides articles from more than 8,000 journals in sciences and humanities, and current events and news magazines, trade and scholar. It offers online and interactive multimedia tools that include 3-D human anatomy images with multiple layers and clinical pathology text. The library has a database of biological literature that includes the fields of agriculture, botany, biochemistry, genetics, ecology, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, neuroscience, pharmacology, toxicology and zoology. It serves various industries, including public health, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and health and rehabilitation sciences.
