If I could give this "surgeon" 0 stars I would! I went in for surgery in October to have my thyroid completely removed. When I woke up from surgery he informed me that he couldn't take out all of the thyroid due to the size. So I had to schedule another surgery to have the other half removed. I'm now sitting at my nuclear dr and was just informed that I cannot get the radioactive iodine because my surgeon left too much thyroid tissue! There should only be a trace amount of tissue and he left 20%! My endocrinology dr even said there is no way she would send me back to him! I now have to have a 3rd surgery to do what he should have the 1st time! Needless to say I will not be going back to Gottlieb now or EVER!

He got my tonsils out, but he left me suffer for a week. He never got back to me. I was having an allergic reaction to the pain medicine he prescribed, and he just would not call me back. I went to the ER. He told me it was an allergic reaction to the antibitoic, so I stopped that, then I swelled up again. He failed to follow up with me 2 different times. After he removes the tonsils, I guess you're as good as meat to him. I don't trust this man any more! I'm really sad that he handled me this way. I never had an allergic reaction, and he didn't do anything for me.

Dr. Gottlieb is a great ENT doctor. He is very informative and takes his time with you. He is also very friendly-good bedside manner. Unfortunately, his office staff (in the Monroeville location) is consistently rude, impatient, and unhelpful. They are miserable everytime I go in to the point that I actually overcompensate by being extremely friendly (It doesn't seem to matter). Definitely see Dr. Gottlieb, but I recommend going to one of his other offices to avoid the Monroeville staff.
