It also offers vegetarian cafe and juice bar that serves entr es, soups, salads and vegetarian dishes. The store operates through grocery, frozen, bulk, produce and supplements department, and offers products, such as pizza crusts, waffles, meats, fish, rice, soy desserts, pastas, coffees, dried fruits, cereals, sprouts, root vegetables, mushrooms, medicinal herbs, spices, and essential fatty acids and oil blends. It operates the East End Food Co-op Federal Credit Union that is a member-owned and operated, nonprofit, financial cooperative offering financial services to its members.

Visited for this first time this week. Awesome selection and helpful staff. Pricing and staple item selection similar to comparable stores. I was surprised at the variety of items packed into the store! Juice bar and hot food in the back. Customer friendly hours of 8am-9pm. I'll definitely be a regular customer! Customer
Fresh organic produce year-round. Delicious ready-made foods on the hot bar. Good selection in the bulk section. East End Food Co-op accepts coupons and has discounts for members, volunteers, seniors, and low-income families! They're the best place in Pittsburgh to walk in and buy organics. Although they do have a lot, parking can occasionally be a little tricky on the weekends. Also, they have a program they call 1% Wednesday where they give back to the local community. Great food and a sense of social responsibility and action to back it up with.
