The company has served utilities, heavy industry, architects, engineers, government agencies, mine operators and commercial enterprises in more than 40 countries since it was founded in 1948. In addition to designs for new construction, much of D Appolonia s work involves stabilization and rehabilitation of failed civil works and structures, life extension and expansion for existing facilities and environmental remediation. When unanticipated conditions are encountered during construction, D'Appolonia is often retained to provide rapid response development of design modifications that minimize impact to schedules and budgets. Some of the company s clients include Austin Electric, Raytheon, Trumbull Corporation, the Army Corps of Engineers, JCPenney and Maple Creek Mining.
