Go to one of the name stores if you want MUCH less knowledgeable part timers that will trick you out of your money pushing their overstock or last years models at this years prices. If Crucial computers doesnt have what you need in stock he searches the web for the best price and fastest delivery time. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I called for service and he promptly came the same day. He came on time and was very professional and efficient. Not only did he fix the issue in a timely manner but he showed me the steps to take to not have the same issue again. Would definitely recommend his service to anyone.....and to top things off, he loves dogs!!

Steve Teague, owner of Crucial Computers, took an enormous amount of time coaching me on setting up my new router. In fact, he sold me a speedier router than I had chosen in veritable ignorance of that device. His recommendation provided more speed at the same price! He expertly configured a new Internet tablet and a Kindle, saving me an enormous amount of frustration and possible errors. Crucial Computers' services are various, from building computer systems to solving the usual stressful incidents, ranging from a laptop that refuses to charge to data recovery, and onward Crucial Computers is centrally located in Greenfield, close to every city neighborhood and very proximate to the parkway. Parking is plentiful and free, a definite plus over Squirrel Hill and downtown. Mr. Teague also offers computer classes, a definite contribution to clients not wanting to enroll in a college class. I like to patronize local computer businesses because they're useful for the hobbyist and it makes returns easy when troubleshooting. Unfortunately neither are true for Crucial Computers. I went in looking for some simple RAM to augment my media center. They only had a single DDR3 pack of RAM in stock, which was overrated for my system. The associate insisted it would work fine in my system. It did not. I know computers quite well and I could not get the RAM to boot. This would be fine- except unbeknownst to myself they had a 5 business-day return policy on RAM (something I was never made aware of, and is in very small writing behind one of their desks). In the end he offered to refund HALF of my entire purchase after I attempted returning the RAM after 6 business days. I will never return to Crucial when there are so many computer companies actually attempting to win my business.
