Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company provides suppression and rescue services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The company provides fire protection services for more than 1,900 residents of Shaler Township in Pennsylvania. It covers an area of over 3 square miles. Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company maintains several halls that can accommodate up to 650 guests and are available on rent for organizing weddings and meetings. The company conducts fundraisers, as well as was established in 1919. It also organizes company meetings and training sessions. Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company maintains Ladies Auxiliary, which conducts bingos and dinner socials.
